AEDIL DAIRY COVE ACADEMY

Summer School

Future Dairy Processing Challenges

This year’s Dairy Science and Technology Summer School will be held at University of Copenhagen, Department of Food Science from 24th – 28th June 2024. The theme is “Future Dairy Processing Challenges”.

Over five days, early career researchers will be immersed in interactive classroom activities and factory tours in the mornings, followed by an opportunity to join the Symposium in the afternoon. Social events to encourage networking will be provided on several evenings.

The overview of the Summer School programme can be downloaded here.

The summer school is limited to 40 participants. A motivation letter must be submitted, and early applicants from partner institutions of the AEDIL Dairy CoVE consortium with a strong motivation to participate will be prioritised. Registration for the Summer School should be completed until May 31st and later applications might not be considered. Once applicants have been notified of acceptance to the Summer School, they must confirm their participation as soon as possible.

Participants who complete the Summer School and join the Online Symposium, will be eligible for a certificate of completion, stating the recommended credit (4-5 ECTS depending on the institution). Topics for the summer school will include workshops informed by current dairy research leaders and transferrable skills for professional success.
